Classified - Position: Bus Aide (Special Education/Transportation) 

 

AM Route Hours Scheduled   3.0  hrs per day - Monday-Friday (Approx: 6:15am– 9:15am)                                       

PM Route Hours Scheduled   3.0 hrs per day - Monday-Thursday (Approx: 1:30pm–4:30pm)
PM Route Hours Scheduled   2.45 hrs - Friday (Approx 12:30pm-3:15pm)

Rate of Pay DOE Step 1: $15.19
Rate of Pay DOE Step 7: $17.11                         

 

This position would entail working as a Bus Aide traveling with special needs students to and from school.     

Special Education Director Angelica Mountainspring-Wood is the District supervisor of this position.     

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Ability to work with students in group or individual situations.
  3. Ability to follow directions and carry out assigned tasks.
  4. Prior experience in working with school-age children in an instructional setting.
  5. Pass district proficiency test.

Salary and Terms of Employment:

The salary and terms of employment are established by Oakridge School District in agreement with conditions set forth in the contract with Oregon School Employees Association, Chapter 46 and School Board Policy.
