Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Graphics Coordinator's role is to design and promote WFC's brand and products to increase sales, drive new Co-op owners as well as educate our shoppers on promotions through on-brand designs for email, social media, website, swag and more.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and produce periodic communication for Co-op owners and staff including, but not limited to print and email newsletters.

Produce printed in-store and digital signage.

Create social media visuals.
-
Create new campaign designs for deals, specials and promotions.
-
Design presentations for staff and owner events.
-
Keep design files and folders organized within the shared file system.
-
Coordinate production of projects with vendors like printers and photographers.
-
Attend occasional community or store tabling events promoting the Co-op.
-
Achieve WFC customer service standards for internal and external customers.
-
Contribute to an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment to support WFC's ENDS.
Essential Organization Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Abide by all WFC policies and procedures.

Engage in creating and maintaining a positive, ethical, and productive workplace that contributes to achieving progress on WFC's ENDS.

Follow and ensure compliance with all safety practices and policies.

Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidance including but not limited to Minnesota Department of Agriculture and National Organic Standards.

Ensure department accountability for maintaining performance standards, provide daily supervision and leadership to designated employees and follow through promptly on documentation and coaching in compliance with WFC policies and practices.

Uphold all personnel and operational policies, giving correction to staff and feedback to management as needed.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Achieve daily operational goals as directed by your supervisor.

Maintain cleanliness of department areas and equipment and communicate and document any equipment maintenance and/or safety concerns to department management.

Report any problems with systems, tools and/or products to department supervisors.

Perform other tasks as assigned by department management.

Assist customers in finding product and/or information, promptly and courteously answer and accurately route phone calls, messages, and customer requests in compliance with established practices.

As directed, move into back stock, rotate, stage, stock and/or merchandise products in accordance with shift criteria.

Promote ownership and owner benefits consistently and positively.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Degree/certification in graphic design

A portfolio of projects that demonstrates your skillset

Ability to learn new technologies/applications quickly
-
Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays

Valid driver's license
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

18 years of age or older

Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, lnDesign

Ability to create design compositions with sound type and imagery layouts and demonstrate brand identity adherence

Ability to effectively communicate a brand through graphic design to different audiences

Ability to create effective designs and compositions tailored to requirements and needs of various marketing channels (e.g, email, social media, website)

Demonstrated project management skills

Ability to operate effectively within established systems and procedures
