Pharmacy Technician at Providence St. Joseph Hospital - Eureka, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 10-hour, Evening shifts.
A Pharmacy Technician has completed an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program in the United States and/or possesses an active California Pharmacy Technician License. Under the supervision of the Area Pharmacy Management Team and the PIC, the Pharmacy Technician assists SJH Pharmacists in all functions required by the department that the Pharmacy Technician can legally perform. A Pharmacy Technician employs intellectual, interpersonal and technical skills through the utilization of pharmacy processes to provide expedient and exceptional patient care. The pharmacy technician functions as a vital member of the Pharmacy team through interdependent and dependent roles within the department Provides age-appropriate care for infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program in the United States. or equivalent educ/experience
- Active National Pharmacy Technician board (PTCB) certification.
- Upon hire: California Pharmacy Technician License
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year Hospital pharmacy experience.
