The role you’ll contribute:
Performs venipunctures and skin punctures competently and expediently. Has thorough knowledge of test requirements, assists in Clinical Laboratory as needed. Responsible for sample collections of all types from all ages of patients. Responsible for clerical functions relevant to laboratory procedures.

Consistently draws blood competently and expediently with as little patient discomfort as possible.
Identifies the patient - comparing patient information on the requisition to the patient’s identification band before venipuncture is performed.
Displays courteous, professional manner towards patients, co-workers, nursing and medical staff.
Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
Labels and records all test tubes, logs procedures, files paperwork
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
High School or GED Required
CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Preferred
