Our services include Cardiology, Critical Care, Dermatology, Emergency, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Radiology, Rehabilitation, and Surgery. UVS is looking for Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our Urgent Care service. Our internal urgent care service will provide a fast-track option for outpatients with non-emergent conditions.   Some types of cases that the Urgent Care team will evaluate and treat include but are not limited to: coughing or kennel cough, nail issues - broken or bleeding, lacerations, allergic reaction/vaccine reaction, bleeding skin tumors, toxicities, parasites – fleas, tapeworms, ticks, dehydration, decreased appetite and other non-emergent conditions.

• Hourly rate depending on experience is $25 - $34 plus differentials of $1- 3 per hour for working past 6:00 pm and on the weekends.

Schedule:

• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Wednesday, 9:45 am to 10:15 pm

• UVS offers a housing allowance benefit to both full-time and part-time employees who work consecutive shifts. A daily or monthly allowance will be offered to employees who live more than 60 miles from UVS in order to obtain temporary housing while completing their scheduled shifts. This benefit is offered as part of the employment agreement upon hire.
