Position Summary:
Responsible for accounts receivable follow-up of assigned providers. Reviews Athena on a daily basis to ensure claim submission was successful and accepted by payer. Responsible for communication with patient and/or physician offices regarding outstanding claims.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma required
Required Skills
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

- Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors.
- Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information.
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
