Food Service Assistant

Overview:

Preparation and delivery of dietary trays, Assist in the cleaning and washing of dishes,glasses, silverware, utensils, pots and pans, Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the department, removal and of trash, service to customer in Bistro, Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food & Nutrition Director or Supervisor

 

Responsibilities:

Work well with others, Demonstrated knowledge of hospital and Food & Nutrition policies. Able to perform several tasks in an organized manner. 

Qualifications:

High School Graduate or GED, The ability to perform a variety of culinary task Ability to lift 50 plus pounds, Stand and walk repetitively,

One year experience in kitchen / food service in healthcare setting preferred
