CNA Home Health Hospice $5,000 Signing Bonus

Description

We are actively seeking a CNA Certified Nursing Assistant to join our amazing Kline Galland Home Health and Hospice team. And includes a $5,000 signing bonus! (The signing bonus is prorated for Part time hires)
As a non-profit 501(c)(3), Kline Galland employees are eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Offering relief on student loans!

Territory: King County-Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Duvall, Carnation, Issaquah, Kenmore, Bothell, Woodinville, Sammamish, Medina and Clyde Hill

Primary responsibilities:

• See patients in their private home or facility and offer bathing assistance as well as assistance with activities of daily living
• Provide communication with patients, families, caregivers and Hospice and Home Health staff
• Caring, compassionate and patient with elderly at an important time in their lives
• Knowledge of assisting patients with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing and grooming
• Transfer patient from bed to W/C or back, provide assistance with positioning, making patient comfortable
• Provide assistance with feeding and encouraging patient to eat as specified in care plan.
• Provide documentation of visit, report to nursing supervisor and alert of any change of condition immediately.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of infection control policies and procedures, i.e., Standard Precautions, Isolation Precautions, personal protective equipment, hand hygiene.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team, supervised by a nurse
• Knowledge of the delivery of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State nursing assistant certification in good standing
• 6 months of CNA experience
• Ability to drive with clean driving record
• Home health/hospice experience preferred
• Current CPR / First Aide
