Machine Adjuster or Trainee Machine Adjuster

Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes.  We are hiring immediately for experienced Machine Adjusters and Trainee Machine Adjusters in our Dallas, TX manufacturing plant.

Experienced Machine Adjuster

• $23/hr or higher depending on experience + $1.50/hr 3rd shift premium
• 5+ years of experience as an Envelope Machine Adjuster is required
• Flexibility to train on any shift
• 1st shift 6:30am -- 2:30pm / 2nd shift 2:30pm -- 10:30pm / 3rd shift 10:30pm -- 6:30am

Trainee Machine Adjuster

• $21/hr or higher depending on relevant experience + + $1.50/hr 3rd shift premium
• 4+ years of advanced hands on mechanical skills required to set up, diagnose/repair complex production equipment as well as complete changeovers, size changes, troubleshoot, etc.
• Flexibility to train on any shift
• 1st shift 6:30am -- 2:30pm / 2nd shift 2:30pm -- 10:30pm / 3rd shift 10:30pm -- 6:30am
• The Trainee position is a developmental role that requires the individual to be successfully progressing to a Machine Adjuster position by successfully completing the training The individual's performance will be evaluated to determine progress in and suitability for the role.

Important Notes:

• Flexibility to train on any shift is required\.
• 1st shift 6am -- 2pm; 2nd shift 2pm -- 10pm; 3rd shift 10pm -- 6am
• 2nd shift premium $1.25/hr / 3rd shift premium $1.50/hr
• The schedule is Mon-Fri with Saturdays required during busy season/based on business needs
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills.
• Flexibility required with machine assignment.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping.
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance.
• Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.).
• Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
• Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
• Mental alertness at all times.
