Kidspace Lead (Part-Time)

Waconia Public Schools is looking for candidates dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to explore their passions and create their success!  A fast-growing school district located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schools serves 4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany.  School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Educational Supervisor and the guidance of the Kids' Company Site Lead, the Kids' Company Lead is responsible for facilitating daily activities in order to support each child's developmental, physical, emotional, mental, and social needs.  If you enjoy a job that includes outdoor activities and no nights or weekends, submit your application as soon as possible!

Specific Work Hours: Monday - Friday, Part-time, shifts will vary 

Position Start Date: August 18, 2025

Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is required. The successful candidate will be reliable, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a recognition, interest, and respect for the needs of children.  Prior experience working with children is preferred.  

Salary:  From $17.04- $21.12 an hour depending upon qualifications.
