    SALARY SCHEDULE:         Rate of pay will be $15.35 per hour.

    START DATE:                      As soon as possible

    JOB SUMMARY:                  The principal function of an employee in this class is to maintain the landscaping around school facilities, snow removal, and the transportation of equipment to various
                                                  sites around the District.  The position proficiently fabricates and welds various metal parts for repairs and installation of equipment.  Installs lockers, assists other  
                                                  trades as assigned.  Cleans and maintains assigned district vehicle and performs other related duties as required.  The work is performed under the general
                                                  supervision of the Custodial and Grounds Foreman.  This position regularly performs tasks wherever needed to main effective and efficient facilities and operations. 
                                                  The principal duties of this class are performed in indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes performing physically demanding duties and dealing with adverse 
                                                   weather conditions.  Driving to and from various district locations is required. 

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:        Must have the ability to operate appropriate tools and equipment to efficiently perform assigned duties; (i.e. welders, sanders, mowers, snow blowers, tractors, heavy
                                                   equipment and a motor vehicle, etc.)  Make minor repairs on groundsdkeeping equipment.  Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalency.  Must have had
                                                   training and experience in welding and fabrication.  Must be able to lift or move objects that weigh up to 50 pounds.  Must have a valid Idaho Drivers License.  Must
                                                   have a driving record that is free of any DUI convictions.
