    Dedicated School Staffing is proud to support Avon Lake City Schools for the recruitment of substitute school based employment opportunities. Long term custodial aides play an important role in our schools by maintaining a safe and clean learning environment.
     
     
    Minimum Qualifications / Education
    1. Clean criminal background.
    2. Three (3) positive professional references.

    After Hire (Contingent)
    1. FBI & BCI Background checks dated within 12 months (Cost varies per agency).

    Responsibilities
    1. Works with others in a group or team.
    2. Services, cleans, or supplies restrooms.
    3. Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
    4. Gathers and empties trash.
    5. Responsible for the health and safety of others.
    6. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
    7. Cleans windows, glass partitions, or mirrors.
    8. Dusts furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
    9. Works with floor polishers, ladders or industrial vacuums.
    10. Includes exposure to contaminants.
    11. Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment.

    Details
    • Starting ASAP, 5 days a week
    • Hours: 5PM-10PM (times could vary), flexible/willing to work with candidate
    • Floating substitute: could be assigned to any building, will be assigned by supervisor in advance
    • Enrollment in School Employees Retirement System (SERS)
