At our plant in Cabot, VT milk from Vermont and a few New Hampshire farms is expertly crafted into Specialty VT Cheddars, Flavored and Light Cheeses and Cultured products as well as Greek-Style Yogurt, Cottage Cheese and Sour Cream.
Cabot Creamery is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time position of Resource Recovery Driver. This position requires a valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) with tanker endorsement and a clean driving record. Resource Recovery Drivers are required to adhere to strict environmental laws and agricultural best practices.
This individual will follow procedures for the proper land application of dairy wastes on permitted fields to include check for groundwater levels in monitoring wells; check for ponding of water; check wind direction; ensure uniform application; and document all relevant activities clearly and efficiently.
Resource Recovery Drivers are also expected to care for company equipment and vehicles; drivers are expected to perform safety inspections, minor maintenance on equipment, wash vehicles, operate and maintain the RO permeate spray field system, and perform other similar duties. Work schedule is 4/10-hour shifts per week with flexibility required to cover weekends as needed. High School diploma or GED is required.
