About this job

Are you someone who thrives on helping others grow in confidence, independence, and wellness?

Do you want to make a meaningful impact—not just fill a position?

Our client is a family seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and empathetic female to join their team as a Weekend Direct Support Mentor. This part-time position based in Marion, Iowa, and offers a schedule 2-3 weekends a month with a split shift of mid-day and overnight on Saturday to mid-afternoon Sunday—ideal for someone who is reliable, encouraging, and values routine with flexibility.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support an adult female who lives independently and experiences sensory and processing sensitivities. You’ll be an important part of a small, trusted team that promotes personal growth, wellness, and independence in a one-on-one, in-home and community-based setting.

If you genuinely live a healthy lifestyle, bring a positive mindset, and find joy in celebrating everyday progress, this role is for you. As a mentor, you’ll help empower someone to live life with greater independence, resilience, and joy—while supporting skill-building, routines, and meaningful daily activities.
