Position Title: Assistant to the Dance Company Director
Position Type: Stipend Position (Non-Traveling)
Schedule: Last class period on A Days and rehearsal directly after, until 3:15 PM. Additional time as needed for halftime performances, extended rehearsals leading up to productions, and special events.

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated individual to serve as the Assistant to the Dance Company Director. This stipend position supports daily operations and rehearsals, providing essential help with both the artistic and logistical aspects of running the dance company.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with cleaning dances by observing rehearsals, offering feedback, and helping dancers maintain choreography accuracy.

• Oversee small group choreography rehearsals as the company rehearses in multiple locations throughout the school.

• Support organization and preparation of costumes for performances, including labeling, sorting, and assisting with fittings.

• Help coordinate and support all performances, including setup, logistics, and breakdown.

• Assist with halftime performances, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising events as assigned.

• Communicate regularly with the director and help ensure rehearsals and events run smoothly.

• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Dance Company Director.

Additional Details:

• This is a non-traveling position.

• The regular schedule is the last class period on A Days and directly after school until 3:15 PM.

• Additional time may be required for halftime performances, extended rehearsals as productions approach, and other scheduled events.

• Additional responsibilities and opportunities may be assigned at the discretion of the director.
