Medical Assistant/Radiologic Technologist

Office Location: HVMG Orthopedic Office 1030 Beaner Hollow Road Beaver, PA 15009
Work Hours: Monday - Friday daylight

This position functions as part of a health care team by communicating patient needs/problems to the provider and assists in the delivery of health care in an outpatient setting. Responsible for performing radiologic procedures, as well as, selected point of care testing, specimen collection, taking vitals, performing basic lab functions, and other miscellaneous clinical responsibilities. 

Requirements

Must be a high school graduate; Must be a graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology; Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or must be registry eligible. If registry eligible, successful completion of the registry must occur within 6 months of the date of hire; Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Previous hospital or medical office experience and excellent communication skills.
