Job Summary
We are currently hiring Unarmed Security Officers to protect upscale commercial and residential properties in Montgomery County, Maryland. This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and a strong sense of duty.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence to deter unwanted or criminal activity
• Monitor property grounds and entrances, reporting safety hazards or suspicious behavior
• Write detailed, accurate reports using a smartphone
• Respond appropriately to emergencies; contact law enforcement or EMS as needed
• Assist residents, staff, and visitors while maintaining strict professionalism
• Follow dispatch instructions and site-specific post orders
• Work independently or as part of a security team

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid Maryland Security Guard License
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English required)
• Ability to write reports using a work-issued smartphone
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
• Must be dependable, punctual, and morally sound
