Gregory Ralph, Architect (GRA Design Studio) is a mid-size architecture firm providing services to both high end residential, and retail commercial clients. Qualifications

  • Demonstrate experience and knowledge of survey techniques and procedures.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as good judgment and organizational skills.
  • Have a valid Driver’s license.
  • Ability to drive/travel for long continuous hours.
  • Ability to drive personal car when necessary.
  • Ability to stand, climb and walk continuously.
  • Ability to perform strenuous work in a varying climate (heat and cold, etc).
  • Ability to be away from home for extended periods of time.
  • Must have good computer skills and be able to learn survey related software / equipment.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit is preferred.
  • Architecture/design background preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with Clients/Brokers/Landlords to schedule site visits.
  • Book travel arrangements and keep records of said transactions biweekly.
  • Maintain communication/relationship with Clients until project moves out of survey phase.
  • Apply standard surveying techniques in the field to plan and execute field surveys.
  • Broad understanding and experience for operating surveying equipment – Faro scanners, Matterport scanners, flying drones.
  • Prepare field notes and draw sketches of existing site conditions when necessary.
  • Accurately records field data.
  • Review, download, and process field data.
  • Prepare detailed job reports and discuss projects with team leads daily.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot complex equipment.
  • Drafting and editing of survey existing conditions using Recap, Revit and AutoCAD.

  • Bachelors in Architecture (Required)

 

Experience:

  • 3-5 years (Required)
  • REVIT (3+ years) (Required)
  • Site Survey experience
