Job Summary

The Property Hand is a versatile and reliable individual responsible for supporting the daily upkeep and functionality of a private property. This role involves a wide variety of hands-on tasks, from general maintenance and landscaping to light animal care and errands. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working in a rural, outdoor setting.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform general property maintenance and repairs as needed
• Assist with landscaping and groundskeeping, including weed eating and brush clearing
• Support routine animal care duties under the direction of the property owner
• Maintain fences, tools, and basic infrastructure
• Assist with errands and occasional logistical tasks
• Provide seasonal and project-based support when required
• Complete miscellaneous property-related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

• Strong work ethic and ability to perform physical outdoor labor
• Familiarity with tools and light repair or maintenance work
• Responsible and self-directed with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working around animals and rural property settings
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior hands-on property, ranch, or farm work experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
