Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - PRN - Full-time / Part-time

Required Skills and Experience

• Active Washington State COTA license in good standing
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

• Associate degree as a COTA
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Understanding of Workers’ Compensation as it relates to treating injured workers
• Experience working with interpreters
• CPR certification

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care and document treatment with accurate, detailed notes
• Communicate regularly and effectively with lead Occupational Therapists directing specialized programs (OT, Work Conditioning, Work Hardening, Brain Injury, Pain Management, etc.)
• Develop individualized occupational therapy programs in collaboration with the lead therapist, tailored to each client’s injury and personal goals
• Maintain accurate treatment records that reflect changes in functional status
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, client care planning, and program development meetings
• Coordinate treatment plans with clients and other team members
