Required Skills and Experience
- Active Washington State COTA license in good standing
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education
- Associate degree as a COTA
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Understanding of Workers’ Compensation as it relates to treating injured workers
- Experience working with interpreters
- CPR certification
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care and document treatment with accurate, detailed notes
- Communicate regularly and effectively with lead Occupational Therapists directing specialized programs (OT, Work Conditioning, Work Hardening, Brain Injury, Pain Management, etc.)
- Develop individualized occupational therapy programs in collaboration with the lead therapist, tailored to each client’s injury and personal goals
- Maintain accurate treatment records that reflect changes in functional status
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, client care planning, and program development meetings
- Coordinate treatment plans with clients and other team members
