Are you someone who has a passion for cooking, and who wants to make a difference in your community? HealthRIGHT 360 is looking for a Full-Time Cook with hands-on cooking skills and a diverse knowledge of cuisine to join us. You will be working in a community-based professional kitchen with client participation and support, using a general production menu and cooking methods. Join our team of dedicated individuals committed to treating people in need of substance abuse, mental health, and primary care treatment.

The Full-Time Cook must have knowledge of standard cuisine foods and a variety of cooking skills. The ability to multi-task in a high paced environment is key to this role. This is a hand-on position, so you must have a working knowledge of how a professional kitchen operates, including sanitation and safe food handling procedures.

         

Key Responsibilities

    

Education/Knowledge:

• Three or more years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Must have a high level of sensitivity and compassion with the client population; you will truly make a difference in the community as a role model.
• In compliance with the CA Department of Public Health's mandate, all employees must be able too provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination (including boosters). Medical and religious exemptions are available.
• We will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

         

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    

• 3 or more years of "back-of-the-house" hands-on cooking skills. 
• Knowledge of diverse foods.
• Must have a high level of sensitivity and compassion and ability to work with a challenged population.
• Must be a team player with professional standards and patience.
