MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - Full-time

Job Description:

• Maintain all plant and support equipment in plastic injection molding facility

• Maintain machine efficiencies by performing all necessary repairs and preventive maintenance     

• Implement and/or suggest both long and short solutions that will positively affect production

• Support a 5S environment

• Be involved in continuous improvement through Kaizen activities

• Troubleshoot and maintain machines and robots

• Organize and sustain spare parts inventory

• Accurately record problems and non-conformances to ensure corrective action and appropriate preventive measures are taken

• Work cohesively with internal departments and external customers in order to provide superior customer satisfaction

• Openly communicate with team members and management

Requirements

• Ability to work independently

• Well organized

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics

• Current forklift license or the ability to obtain a forklift license

• Ability to stand with constant moving, walking, stooping, climbing, and kneeling for 8-12 hours

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds

Experience Required

• Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment

• Previous forklift operator experience

• A working knowledge of process water systems, chilled water systems, air compressors, switchgear, etc.

• Electrical experience

• Previous experience using a multimeter

Education Required

High School Diploma or GED

Education Preferred (Not Required)

Associates Degree

Schedule

Days:  Schedule operates on a rotating 3-2-2-3 shift (requires every other weekend)

Hours:  7:00am – 7:00pm

Starting Rate of Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE
