Firefighter Skills Instructor/Evaluator

The skills evaluator assists in meeting the mandated 5 students to 1 instructor ratio for firefighting skills for high school students under the direction of the high school Public Safety instructor.

Minimum Requirements: 

5 years of firefighting experience

Ohio Certification as Fire Instructor, Assistant Fire Instructor, or Fire and Emergency Services Instructor

Familiarity of Ohio Firefighter Level 1 and/or Level 2 certification

Desireable Qualifications:

Interest in working with high school students

Prior instructor/training experience
