What is the job?: As a Dishwasher, you will be an essential part of our kitchen team, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently. Your commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail will contribute to the overall quality of our food service operations.

• Assist with various tasks related to opening and closing procedures for smooth operations.
• Prepare and set up your station to ensure it’s ready for service.
• Adhere to safety protocols for handling dishes and chemicals to maintain a safe and sanitary environment. At the start of your shift, set up clean trash cans and ensure proper waste disposal at the end of your shift.
• Maintain open and effective communication with management about any issues or needs.
• Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and properly organized.
• In addition to washing dishes, the dishwasher assists with sanitizing kitchen tools, preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness in the dishwashing area, reporting equipment issues, and supporting the kitchen staff during busy periods.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid food handler’s certificate.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift 25-50 lbs.
• Prolonged periods of standing and navigating the kitchen environment.
