Porter - Full-time

Description

Beefbar is an upscale fine dining establishment known for its exceptional cuisine and superior customer service. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter to join our team and maintain the cleanliness and organization of our restaurant.

As a Porter at Beefbar, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas of the restaurant. Your role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of our fine dining environment and contributing to our guests' overall experience. Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen, restrooms, and storage areas
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of outdoor areas, including entrances and patios
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled
• Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed
• Assist with moving and arranging furniture for special events
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Assist other departments as needed during busy periods Qualifications
• 2-3 years of experience in a cleaning or janitorial role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning chemicals
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout a shift
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic English communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment
