Machine Operator Entry Level 1st Shift

Description

Machine Operator Labor Grade 11 is responsible for the final production processes in the making of high-quality cookware. In this seat you’ll assemble, test (including thermoplugs), rivets, wraps, and packs a variety of cookware, sets up work centers, sets up and operates spot welders, flange finishing, laser trademark machines, bottom brusher.  You will also operate punch presses, flattening presses, grit blasters, shrink wrap, small drill press, blank sanding machine.

Your seat at the table: Machine Operator Entry Level 1st Shift (LG 11)

Salary: $19.54/hr

Job Type: Full-Time

You will love this seat if you get, want, and have the capacity to:

• Makes ready, installs, positions, adjusts, aligns, and removes all tooling, and other parts and fittings required to operate machines such as listed above.
• Makes final and in-process adjustments to assure quality requirements are met.
• Loads and/or unloads parts to be cleaned and inspects for defects.
• Operates machines listed above as well as small air or electric driven hand tools used for assembly.
• Also includes wrapping, bagging, forming, and packing of products into cartons and accessories, and loading cartons on pallets.
• Maintains equipment and tooling and takes appropriate corrective action if required.
• Checks products for flaws, scratches, proper finish, and other defects.
• Moves material to and from the work area.
• Keeps a clean and safe work area.

We need this seat to have:

• Adequate math and computer skills.
• Ability to stand all day.
• Great communication skills.
• Can self-direct.
