JOB SUMMARY:

Support of Quality Data team responsible for collecting and storing data on quality metrics, defects, customer issues, or other data related to quality and/or reliability of our aircraft. Ensure the quality and accuracy of that data, then process, design and present it in ways to help people, the business, and support organizations make better decisions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and validation of documents regarding quality data requirements.
  • Assists the quality team to visualize the state of their business with respect to quality both internally and from the external impact to the customer.
  • Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with other support groups when necessary.
  • Process confidential data and information according to guidelines.
  • Develop reports and analysis from various systems.
  • Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Collaborate and support initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  • Evaluate changes and updates to existing data collection systems.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree required in Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other related field

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional and diplomatic demeanor
  • Strong sense of accountability and integrity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management skills to support multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to deal with change and work in a dynamic environment
  • Proficient in use of standard Microsoft Office programs

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.  

Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.   

Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
