Job Description:

Assist in Planning and Facilitation of Design Den 
- Staff Mayborn Museum Makerspace, Design Den, during open hours. This includes preparing supplies, set-up and tear down, facilitation, and testing and prototyping activities.
- Provide high quality customer service while communicating and engaging with visitors using making and tinkering facilitation strategies.

Tinkering Training and Research
- Become familiar with various making tools and programs including leather working, sewing and fiber craft, paper craft, woodworking, etc. 
- Research ways to use recycled materials in making/tinkering and assist with collection of supplies.

Evaluation, Observations, Reflection
- Research innovative ways to evaluate Design Den programs and events.
- Take detailed observations in Design Den, both qualitative and quantitative, and assist in documentation.
- Participate in weekly reflection meetings to discuss tinkering practices and Design Den programming.

Upkeep of Design Den Exhibit Space
- Keep storage closets and supplies organized.
- Manage supply inventories and communicate with Museum Engagement Team staff when supplies are running low.
