MLT - PRN - BONUS ELIGIBLE (7427-1456) - Part-time

Demonstrates knowledge of OSHA regulations and follows the laboratories safety policies by utilizing the safety items/equipment provided by the facility. Performs laboratory work in assigned areas in a prompt and accurate manner. Performs quality control as described in the policy/procedure manuals taking necessary corrective action when controls are not within the labs quality standards. Notifies Laboratory Manager when corrected reports are issued. Maintains daily instrument maintenance & troubleshooting and communicates any problems to personnel on other shifts. Monitors inventory of supplies and relays impending shortages to the Laboratory Manager.

Education: AS degree or certificated in Medical Lab Technician and be ASCP registered or board eligible.

Experience: Previous hospital experience preferred.
