BS/MS level education in immunology, cell biology or related fields required 3-6 years of experience in laboratory work in academic or industry setting
Extensive experience with cell biological techniques such as cell culture (cell lines as well as primary immune cells), cell isolation from human blood and mouse tissues, immune-staining for multi-color flow assays is required
Expertise in the operation and maintenance of flow cytometers
Experience with flow data analysis using FlowJo or
Works well both independently and as part of a team. Collaborative skills and effective partnering skills in a matrix-environment
Strong data organization and analysis skills
Strong communication skills and abilities work in a fast-paced matrix environment

Job Focus:
A position is available for a skilled cell biologist/immunologist to join a state-of-the-art cellular biomarker-biomeasures laboratory in PDM, Andover. Expertise in cellular and functional assays using flow cytometry, cell culture and other immunological assays is required. The lab based role entails performing deep immune-phenotyping and phospho-signaling assays of human, mouse and cynomolgus cells, receptor quantification, receptor internalization, and receptor occupancy to support portfolio projects. This position requires deep knowledge of human and mouse immunology, proven expertise in multi-color flow cytometry and biochemical techniques (antibody conjugation to fluorochromes) and a strong background in quantitative cell biology,. The candidate will participate in all phases of laboratory operations including sample preparation, hand-on operation of flow cytometers, assay execution, instrument maintenance, data acquisition and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and stain cells for receptor quantification, receptor internalization kinetics, immune-phenotyping, functional assays and microscopy
Run flow assays under minimal supervision; initiative in method development is expected.
Independently carry out daily operation, calibration, maintenance, and trouble shooting of flow cytometers and time-lapse microscopes.
Help in assay and reagent development, sample preparation and analysis for biomarker discovery using mass cytometry (CyTOF)
Additional Skills:
