Bus Monitor - Middle School - Part-time

The Duxbury Public Schools is looking for a monitor to assist a middle school student on their rides to and from school.    This position would be for up to 6 hours per week.   Anticipated schedule is:  

 

Friday 7:30 - 8:20 AM and Monday - Friday, 2:45 - 3:40 PM (exact times may vary depending on bus route)

 

 

• Riding the bus with elementary-aged student to provide reinforcement for expected student behaviors
• Collaborating regularly with the Administrators to ensure student safety on the bus
• Help student to remain calm and safe during transportation
• Build a positive rapport with staff and students connected with transportation
• Communicate any happenings during the ride to DPS Staff within the same day
