Detention Support Specialist
- Prepare and process payment demands as required
- Maintain detailed spreadsheets for contracted inmate stays to aid in accurate billing
- Issue monthly invoices to partner facilities for inmate housing and transport services
- Track and record daily inmate meal charges
- Review and approve inmate mail and emails
- Verify and process indigent packs for inmates
- Assist with booking and release procedures for inmates
- Provide coverage at the front desk and assist with visitor inquiries as needed
- Handle civil department duties, including receiving and processing paperwork
- Support the records department, ensuring timely forwarding of approved reports to the County Attorney’s Office
- Perform other related duties as assigned

They are excellent communicators, both verbally and in writing, and feel comfortable working independently with minimal direction while also contributing as a valuable team member. Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- At least two (2) years of secretarial or accounting experience
- Valid Arizona Driver License required within three (3) months of hire
- Proficient in computer use and standard office equipment
- One (1) year of experience in finance, business accounting, or use of Visions software
- Knowledge of modern office practices
- Familiarity with legal terminology
- Strong telephone and communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Demonstrated reliability, responsibility, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
