Position Summary:
Provide exceptional guest service by preparing espresso drinks and selling food items. Prepare food using microwave, toaster and speed oven.
Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
- Open and/or close the coffee shop.
- Complete prep work and prepare drink/food items.
- Always provide exceptional guest service.
- Operate the cash machine (Squirrel), balance cash, and complete appropriate paperwork.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee shop.
- Remain professional and courteous in both appearance and manner.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Have or be willing to obtain extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities, events, and activities.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Other duties as assigned
Specific Job Skills:
License/Certifications- Food Handlers Certification (will help obtain)
Technical- Coffee and Kitchen equipment knowledge
Physical Capabilities- Combined standing/walking for up to 8 hours per shift. Lift up to 25 lbs. frequently, up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Bend, squat, kneel, climb, twist, and reach above shoulder level frequently. Use hands for grasping and fine manipulation.
Additional- exposure to boiling water and steam
