Summary

The Rowing Graduate Assistant will assist with the daily operations of the Rowing program. The GA will be responsible for instruction, development, and recruitment of the novice team. The GA will assist with boat/equipment inventory and maintenance.

Essential Functions
  • Management of the walk-on Novice program, on/off campus recruiting, preparation for practice sessions, assist with student-athlete travel to and from off-campus training sessions, provide skill instruction, assist with recruit onboarding, compliance, etc.

  • Secondary responsibilities will include assisting with travel planning and execution, and other administrative duties. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any field of study.

  • Barry University graduate student.

  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Knowledge of NCAA rules.

  • Ability to drive a motorboat, and rowing shell maintenance experience is a plus.
