Description

Job Summary:  
Provide direct nursing services, emergency first aid, and assist in coordinating needed auxiliary services for independent residents. 
 

Responsibilities:

•  Lead emergency response team, providing critical care to medically unstable residents.
•  Employ problem-solving skills and follow protocols for urgent care situations.
•  Maintain detailed records, prepare incident reports, and communicate with families and medical professionals.
•   Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive support and follow-up care.
•  Manage inquiries from residents, families, and medical staff post-incident.
•  Demonstrate strong organizational skills and ensure confidentiality of resident information.
•  Prioritize customer service to foster a positive work environment and promote satisfaction among associates and residents.
•  Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
 

Qualifications


Skills and aptitude required:

•  Current Licensed Practical Nurse License
•  Minimum of 3-5 years nursing experience in Ambulatory Care or similar setting.
•  CPR Certification
•  Knowledge of federal and state regulations for long-term care, assisted-living and continuing-care facilities.
•  Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents and families.
•  Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
•  Must possess ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
•  Ability to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
•  Ability to supervise and manage resident care.
•  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and demands.
•  Strong verbal and written communications skills.

 

Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM. Must be available from 7:00 AM-7:00 PM Monday-Sunday (2 weekends a month required) 

Pay: $28-$31 an hour, based on experience
