Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is a 365-entertainment destination for world-class events located in Austin, TX. The sports and entertainment portfolio at COTA is unmatched in the country with Formula 1 US Grand Prix, NASCAR, and MotoGP attracting global fans during championship races on the famed Circuit and LiveNation producing over 30 headline concerts every year at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater.
Proof of the Pudding, operator of COTA Concessions, is looking for team members that will be responsible for various concessions operations at COTA’s many events. The ideal candidate has experience leading a concessions team, is a hands-on worker, and is familiar with concessions operations and equipment. Work assignments and tasks can change daily based on the immediate needs of the event calendar but individuals should be available to work October 17–19, 2025 with a paid training day either October 14 or 15.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to work with new team members week-to-week to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage the personnel in one or multiple concession stands ensuring hot food is hot, cold beverage is cold, and speed of service.
- Ensure the completion of cleaning & sanitizing checklists, time-temperature logs, inventory counts, cash management, and other functions.
- Delegate tasks in an upbeat and courteous manner.
- Following up with team members and coaching them on-the-job while understanding there is not a one-size-fits-all method.
- Perform pre and post shift meetings and manage the team of staff that is scheduled to run each event.
- Ensure food preparation at concession stand occurs while practicing and abiding by local and state food safety laws.
- Attending and executing each event to ensure that it runs smoothly from the set-up to the break-down.
- Assisting in post-event tasks including inputting payroll and inventory.
- Assist in completing monthly inventories.
Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ year experience leading a food service team, concessions leadership is preferred.
- Live within 25 miles of COTA is preferred.
- ServSafe Certified preferred.
Specialized Qualifications:
- Must have previous concessions experience with progressing responsibilities.
- Strong Customer Service skills with the desire to go above and beyond, providing excellent service to our customers.
- Effective communication skills with both team members and guests.
- Someone that is team oriented, courteous, can delegate tasks, and is firm in maintaining standards.
Work Environment
The work environment for this position will work out of and report to Circuit of the Americas. Events may be indoors, outdoors, or in temporary structures. This position may work with kitchen equipment including food warmers, heat lamps, coolers, and more.

Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of standing, moving through an event space, and traveling throughout the stadium
- Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
- Must be able to lift up-to 30 pounds at times.

Position Salary & Benefits:
- This is considered a part-time hourly position. Schedules will range upon business demands.
