Howell's kitchen & bar is Looking for a To Go Specialist to Join our Team!
We’re an eclectic American tavern serving up modern takes on the classics you know and love in the Underhills Neighborhood of Atlanta. Craftsmanship and service are at the heart of our bar and scratch kitchen - come in for food, drinks, bocce ball, and a spacious patio!
The To Go Specialist is responsible for supporting our guests and third-party vendors for all take-out services and is dedicated to ensuring an amazing take-out experience for guests. The ideal candidate is someone who is a hard worker, a self-starter, maintains a strong work ethic, and possesses the intangibles we are looking for - helpful, kind, fun to be around, and guest-obsessed. We are looking for Tuesday through Saturday, PM/Dinner Shift, 5 pm to 9:30 pm
Hourly Pay of $10 plus tips
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide a welcoming phone greeting within three rings and follow guest ordering procedures warm greeting, accurate service timing, and order preparation
- Knowledge of the POS system and online ordering procedures. Know how to troubleshoot any issues that can arise from ordering to payment processing.
- Accurately use the POS system to send orders to the kitchen by recording guests’ choices, identifying guests’ special dietary needs, and special requests
- Cash Handling guidelines followed. Ensure all checks are closed accurately.
- Stay updated on current menu items and specials, and be aware if the kitchen staff is running low on any items.
- Make beverages (as needed) and deliver to the guest or the delivery driver at the time of pick-up
- Ensure that all items are prepared to specification and packaged correctly
- Ensure that all items needed to execute to-go's are present and stocked (boxes, bags, plastic flatware, cups, etc.)
- Perform side duties, daily and weekly cleaning tasks as directed by management.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently - dress code followed.
- Promptly address customer service issues and refer to management when necessary.
- Have a friendly, outgoing disposition and the ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
