High School, Emotional Support Paraprofessional - Full-time

A vacancy will exist for an Emotional Support Paraprofessional at Norristown Area High School within the Norristown Area School District for the 2025-2026 School Year.

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or 48 Postsecondary Credits
• Experience working with children
• Knowledge of community resources and agencies
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to collaborate with others
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish Preferred 

Duties:                                                        

• Provides instructional support to students
• Supports and assists students with the completion of assigned tasks either individually or in small groups
• Implement students' behavior plans
• Collect data
• Apply therapeutic aggression control techniques
• Performs related duties as required

Hourly Rate, 2025-2026:
