Responsibilities:PRN - Registered Nurse (RN) for Inpatient
Location: Crookston Hospital
Schedule: PRN/as needed
Scheduled hours: Various
Pay Range: $42.24 - 59.15/(hourly) DOE. - Non exempt, subject to OT
River View Health has an opening for a Register Nurse (PRN /as needed) for the Hospital-Inpatient Unit. This position would cover shifts between (6am-6pm) and supports all Riverview Health patient care areas. This position is available to assist the department for employee vacations, leaves, and sick calls.
- Direct Patient Care - Develops and implements care plans based on patient condition and medical protocols. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician. Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise.
- Documentation and Reporting - Accurately document patient care and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Communication and Collaboration - Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members. Provide patient education on care plans, discharge instructions, and medications.
- Patient Advocacy and Safety - Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately.
Minimum(s):
- Current State of Minnesota RN license.
- Current American Heart BLS certification is required. If not currently certified, training will be provided, and certification must be obtained within 4 months of date of hire.
- Current American Heart ACLS certification is required. If not ACLS certified, we will train within the first year.
Preferred(s):
- ICU, ER, Medical, Surgical or OB experience.
- 1+ years of clinical nursing experience
- 2+ years of Hospital Inpatient experience
