Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Math and literacy skills

Ability to keep accurate records

Ability to interact with patience and understanding with students and staff

Ability to make change accurately and quickly

Job Goal

To contribute to the food service program by prompt and accurate handling of all financial matters during serving time in the cafeteria.

Essential Functions

Observes student trays and records accurate meal count according to student eligibility.

Collects and records cash transactions daily.

Prepares tally sheet, meals served reports, and cash reconciliation sheet each day.

Maintains a master roster on the line.

Collects and records advance meal sales on Monday when applicable.

Performs other related duties as requested or assigned.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
