Hourly Learning Associate (Part-Time Teaching Position); 20 Hours Per Week; Bonita and Chula Vista Locations

Altus Schools South Bay (ASSB), part of the Altus affiliated schools, is a nonprofit, state-funded public charter school serving students in grades 7-12. Our approach redefines how teachers teach and students learn, with a strong emphasis on personalized, blended learning. The Altus Schools Learning Associate will assist with the academic program in grades 7-12 and will support the operations of a community-based resource center. We are looking for passionate, skilled educators who are energetic, accountable, and student-centered. The ideal candidate will have exceptional classroom management and organizational skills, understand the developmental needs of adolescents, motivate students effectively, and set high expectations for success. This position requires a dedicated individual who employs a data-driven approach, embraces accountability, and thrives as a collaborative team player. This is an hourly part-time (20 hours per week) position.

Begin with Step 1 hourly contract @ $36.19 (Step 2: $37.56, Step 3: $38.97, Step 4: $40.44, Step 5: $41.97); 20 hours per week

Candidates who successfully pass this initial phase will advance to an interview with a panel of School Administrators. Those who excel in this stage will move on to a final interview with the Deputy Superintendent of School Services and Founding Director and the Superintendent of School Services and Founder.
