POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide psychiatric services to adolescent and adult psychiatric patients of LifeSkills under the supervision of a Licensed Psychiatrist (if required) such as psychiatric evaluation, med management, consultation and collateral services to referred patients.

Position will be primarily in Bowling Green with limited travel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct services including psychiatric evaluation, med management, consultation and collateral services to referred patients.
• Document all services provided in accordance with agency standards
• Participate in treatment team meetings providing supervision and feedback on pertinent cases
• Complete psychiatric treatment plans for all individuals for whom you are the primary provider
• Maintain agency expectation for productivity

Additional Functions:

• Attend meetings, conferences and other professional and organizational functions
• May perform some services via teleconferencing equipment.
• May provide on-call services to crisis unit patients

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or post-graduate degree in nursing, certification, & licensure required.

Licensure:

• Kentucky PMHNP license or PMHNP license in a State recognized by the Kentucky Nurse Licensure Compact Act required effective June 1, 2007.

Qualifications:

• Completion of all requirements to practice as an Adult and/or Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• History working with Substance Use Disorder preferred
