MANUFACTURING TECH IV - Chatsworth, IL

Description

Prinsco is looking for a driven Production Lead in our Chatsworth IL location! This position is for 2nd shift (2:55PM-11:00PM). • Operate assigned production equipment, completing start-up/shut-down procedures, operating all assigned production lines in a safe, efficient, & productive manner while maximizing output.
• Verify that finished goods meet Prinsco’s quality standards, identifying and reporting defects or improper machine operations immediately.
• Perform corrective maintenance, repairs or changeovers, performing mechanical adjustments to equipment, as needed during production.
• Assist other employees and focus on cross-training, continuous improvement and learning

We require the following qualifications:
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) with minimum of six months manufacturing or production experience.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and perform some mathematical calculations.
• Maintain a valid state auto driver’s license, with forklift experience preferred.
