Lead HVAC Trainer

Everblue is looking for an experienced and motivated HVAC Trainer to support our team on a project basis. If you’re BPI certified, passionate about HVAC systems, and committed to advancing green construction, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the next generation of industry professionals.

Location:
Remote with regular travel required 

What You’ll Do:

• Design and update HVAC training curriculum that reflects the latest industry standards and regulations.
• Deliver engaging, hands-on training sessions—covering HVAC installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair—to learners of all backgrounds.
• Supervise onsite practical training, ensuring safety, compliance, and effective skill development.
• Build and maintain HVAC training labs, utilizing your construction expertise to ensure they’re fully equipped and current.
• Create a supportive, well-managed learning environment where all students are challenged and encouraged to succeed.
• Mentor learners who need extra support through personalized instruction and ongoing guidance.
• Travel to a variety of locations—up to 75% of the time—to lead training sessions and assist with program delivery.

About You:

• BPI (Building Performance Institute) certification or equivalent in HVAC is preferred.
• In-depth experience with HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair, and a strong understanding of construction fundamentals.
• Proven ability to develop training curriculum and design technical education programs.
• Confident communicator with a talent for explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and attentive to safety and compliance standards in all aspects of training delivery.
• Experience managing and maintaining HVAC labs is a plus.
• Collaborative team player who also works well independently.
• Committed to supporting learners of all abilities and finding strategies for their success.
