Quality Assurance Technician

PAY:  $14.50/hr ($17.50 with perfect attendance bonus)

Monday to Friday and sometimes Weekends

Job Title: Quality Assurance Tech

Manager: Quality & Technical Affairs Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify that the finished products meet individual customer specifications.
• Net Weight checks
• Temperature checks
• Metal Detector verification checks
• Product profiles
• Equipment inspections
• Employee GMP and Sanitary Condition Inspections.
• Pre-operative Inspections, when required
• X-Ray verification checking
• Ensures food safety, quality, and legality

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently required to stand, talk, walk, and hear in a production environment.
• Occasionally required to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust vision focus
• Work is performed in a production setting with moderate to intense noise levels
• Work is performed in a fluctuating temperature environment (typically 40 degrees to -10 degrees)
