What You’ll Be Doing
As a Lead QC Technician – Lighting, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things lighting in our warehouse. You’ll oversee gear quality, coach warehouse techs, and ensure every rig leaving our floor is show-ready.
✅ Leadership & Mentorship – Provide hands-on guidance to technicians within the lighting discipline, offering coaching, performance feedback, and training
✅ Workflow Support – Assist the Lighting Supervisor with daily planning, show preps, client demos, and workflow optimization
✅ Equipment Inspection – Set up, inspect, and test lighting systems to match show specs; document functionality using quality checklists
✅ Inventory Coordination – Track shortages, submit purchase requests, and maintain consumable stock levels
✅ Communication Hub – Collaborate with Project Coordinators, Equipment Logistics, and other departments to ensure orders are accurate and complete
✅ Training Initiatives – Create and present training materials that help improve skillsets and support warehouse success
✅ Warehouse Organization – Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse layout with a coded binning system
✅ Flex Support – Step into general warehouse duties or special projects as needed, including local deliveries and internal inquiries
What We’re Looking For
🔹 3+ years in lighting, AV, or warehouse operations
🔹 Solid understanding of lighting systems, components, and signal flow
🔹 Strong communication and leadership skills
🔹 Proven ability to train, guide, and motivate a team
🔹 Detail-oriented mindset with a drive for process improvement
🔹 Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
