Analyst Cartus Treasury - Danbury, CT (Hybrid)

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The primary function of the Analyst I on the Treasury Team is to accurately process electronic disbursements and checks, while ensuring customer and client needs are met in a timely efficient manner through delivery of Top Block Service. The Analyst I is responsible to adhere to internal audit requirements and Accounts Payable and Treasury controls.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Input, approve & release electronic payments
• Generate and audit checks in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Process stop, void and return payments and inquires
• Complete daily reporting, reconciliations, router box inquiries and team logs
• Reconcile bank reports and disbursement lists on a daily basis
• Liaise with internal departments to analyze the validity of payment requests and to research and resolve discrepancies as requested
• Maintain on-going communications with the bank and internal customers
• Other Treasury related functions as needed
• Participate in special projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS/SELECTION CRITERIA:

• Minimum of 2 years related business experience or Associates Degree in Accounting or Management preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office software, especially Excel and Word required
• Strong planning and organization skills, internally motivated and a self-started
• Oracle or other financial system experience preferred 
• Prior banking experience preferred
