We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team for Austin and San Antonio area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, specifically in areas such as personal injury, construction defect, and product liability. The candidate should be licensed in Texas and possess a minimum of 2-5 years of experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to handle a diverse caseload and work collaboratively with a team of experienced attorneys. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, and will have a proven track record in civil litigation and legal writing.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences, arguing motions, and trial work.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents related to personal injury, construction defect, and product liability.
  • Conduct thorough case investigations, legal research, and analysis.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients and ensure that clients receive the highest quality service.
  • Represent the interests of the client in court and before quasi-judicial or administrative agencies of government.
  • Work closely with other attorneys on legal projects.
  • Manage client relationships and handle cases from initial consultation through resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar of Texas.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on litigation, specifically personal injury, construction defect, and product liability.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and courts.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal solutions.
  • Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
