We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position within our Accounting and Finance department, offering a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in our company's financial operations. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our accounting functions, including but not limited to, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and financial analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles and a keen attention to detail. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept in financial planning and management, and able to work collaboratively with various teams within the organization.

Responsibilities
As the Accounting Manager, you will:
1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc.
2. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
3. Coordinate and complete annual audits.
4. Provide recommendations for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's financial performance and financial controls.
5. Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly financial statements, annual reports, and reports to government agencies.
6. Coordinate with the management in planning the fiscal strategy of the company.
7. Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
8. Respond to inquiries from the Director of Finance, and other finance and firm wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role.
3. CPA certification is strongly preferred.
4. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
5. High attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Ability to direct and supervise.
7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial data and information to individuals at all levels within the organization.
9. Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office.
10. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
