Position Overview
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair automotive equipment. This role involves working directly with clients to ensure their shops are equipped with safe, fully operational machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Install automotive equipment such as lifts, compressors, and repair tools
- Perform maintenance and service tasks to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Conduct on-site assessments for installation and repair needs
- Work independently on service calls and installations while maintaining professional communication with customers
- Keep detailed records of work performed, parts used, and maintenance recommendations
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures
- Manage tools, equipment, and inventory for daily service operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required; technical certifications a plus)
- 4-7 years of experience installing and servicing automotive equipment, including lifts and compressors
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in automotive shop environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs and work in various conditions
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
